Continue to keep the beans wet by spraying each day. Predict how long the beans will take to grow and write down the prediction. Get out all of your plastic storage containers. Have your child match lids with containers to see if any are missing. Sort cereal. Pour 3 kinds of cereal in a bowl and have your child sort by kind and then eat them.
Cut pictures of flowers from old magazines. Glue on paper to make a garden. Go to the library and check out children's gardening books. Sing and the the motions to "Ring Around the Rosie."

Put potting soil/dirt in the sensory pan. Add plastic flowers, pots, garden tools, spoons, etc. Make Dirt Cups for a snack.
Draw a self-portrait. Read a book outside (if weather is nice). Look for signs of Spring. Play a board game. Look for 5 diamond shapes around your house. Say nursery rhyme of the month in the bath tub!
Practice summersaults (outside if it's nice). Play drums with pots and pans, plastic containers, etc. Use wooden spoons or other spoons for drumsticks. Trace diamonds. Cut them out. Parents cut templates from cardboard or a cereal box. Talk about what you might see at a green house. Draw a picture of what you might see. Visit a greenhouse or nursery. Or any place that sells flowers. Look for purple flowers.
