County Regulated Child Care

 

 

Level I Regular Certified Child Care Homes

  • Meet minimum health and safety standards required.

  • Completed a Tuberculosis test.

  • Completed 23 hours of certification course requirements.

  • References are required to be kept on file with the county certifier.

  • Criminal background checks of all individuals 10 years old or older living in the house or who have regular contact with the children.

A county certifier makes a site visit upon initial certification and then every two years. Unannounced spot check visits are made during the two year period and visits are also made if a complaint filed against the provider warrants a visit.
 


 

 

Level II Provisionally Certified Child Care Homes
