Show your child how to make a star.	Cut red and white paper into strips. Help your child make a flag.	Sing Yankee Doodle Dandy.	Search for shells in the sensory pan.	Paint glue on paper and sprinkle with sand. Then glue some shells on.
Go for a walk and count squirrels.	Eat blueberries and strawberries dipped in whipped cream.	Color on the sidewalk with chalk.	Go to the library and check out a music tape or CD.	Say the nursery rhyme "Little Boy Blue."
Make a puppet out of an old sock. Use buttons for eyes.	Draw a self-portrait.	Use blankets to make a fort or tent outside.	Dance to your favorite music.	Let your child water the lawn or garden.
Say your first and last name. Practice writing them.	Cut out a large cardboard star and let your child decorate it.	Play catch with your child.	Go to the pool or run around in the sprinkler outside.	Sort money by size.
