Play Groups

 

Parent Connection
Parent Connection welcomes Moms, Dads, Grandparents, or Caregivers who are looking for a place to unwind and share the joys and challenges of parenting with other parents. Connect over coffee and conversation while toddlers and preschoolers play in our adjoining supervised playroom. No need to register. Parent Connection meets on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 AM at Family Resources (1500 Green Bay Street, La Crosse). For more information contact Lisa at (608) 784-8125.


Play Shoppes
Play Shoppe is a shared time for parents and their children, ages birth to five years of age. Join us for one of our Play Shoppes to enjoy open-ended playtime, a simple art activity, circle and story time, and a snack. Registration is not required.
 

PLEASE NOTE: Play Shoppes will not be offered on non-school days, including those due to weather. This does NOT include La Crosse Play Shoppe.

Bangor Play Shoppe
Tuesdays | 9-10:30AM
Meet at the Bangor Elementary School (700 10th Ave. S.). For more information contact Lois at (608) 784-8125.

Holmen/Onalaska Play Shoppe/
Wednesdays | 9-10:30AM
Meet at Oak Grove Family Learning Center (W7908 County Rd. Z, Onalaska). For more information contact Lois at

Lunch and Gym Play Shoppe
Thursdays | 11:30AM-1PMThis new Play Shoppe is a shared time for parents and their children, birth to 5 years of age. Join us for open-ended playtime in the gym. Promote healthy, physical play and give your child a chance to run, jump, skip, and exercise through the cold winter. Bring a lunch and be ready for some fun! Meet at the Erickson Boys & Girls Club (1331 Clinton St., La Crosse). For more information call (608) 784-8125.

La Crosse Play Shoppe
Fridays | 9:30-11AM Meet at Family Resources (1500 Green Bay St., La Crosse). On the first Friday of every month La Crosse Play Shoppe meets at a different location. For more information contact Fran at (608) 784-8125.

  • January 1st: No Play Shoppe today.

  • February 5th: Sledding at Seminary Park (3400 East Avenue South).

  • March 5th: Visit the La Crosse City Street Department Garage (2000 Marco Drive).
