This event
is an opportunity for you and everyone in the community to recognize and
walk in honor of a special person in your life—parent, grandparent,
foster parent, neighbor, aunt, uncle, friend. This unique
walk around Riverside Park is suited to all physical abilities, both young
and old. The money raised will be used to support Family Resources’ parent
education programs. It is a way to recognize and appreciate the power of
positive parenting in your life while helping Family Resources continue to
“pass it on” to the families
in the La Crosse area.
cost to participate
Fee is
$10.00 per walker. Children ten years of age and under are free. T-shirt
cost is an additional $7.00.
pledges
Collect
pledges from family, friends, and neighbors who aren’t able to attend and
walk in honor of someone for them also. Raise $50 in pledges and receive a
free t-shirt.
