Beach Party!

It’s a Beach Party! Come prepared to get wet! We will be playing in water,
painting with water and much more. Join us for a night of “wet & wild” fun!

Parent Connection welcomes moms,
dads, grandparents, or caregivers who are looking for a place to unwind and
share the joys and challenges of parenting with other parents. Connect over
coffee and conversation while toddlers and preschoolers play in our
adjoining supervised playroom. No need to register.

Workshops
Workshops are offered
free of charge.
Limited childcare
provided for children who are independent walkers and older; younger
children are welcome to join their parents. Child care is limited to the
first 8 children registered. CEU’s are available when noted.

Nurturing Your Spirited Child

The key word that
distinguishes spirited children from other children is “more” – more
intense, more persistent, more sensitive, and more uncomfortable with
change. Learn to understand temperamental traits, identify cues leading up
to challenging behavior, how to cope with tantrums and more.

4-H: It's Not Just Cows and Cooking!

You may know about
4-H from the County Fair or think of it as an organization for “farm kids.”
In 4-H, young people make new friends, develop new skills, become leaders
and help shape their communities. 4-H is open to all youth, grades K-12, no
matter where they live. Learn more about 4-H and the opportunities for your
child in your community.

Thursdays | September 9th - 30th | 6-7:30PM
Learn skills that
will help your children develop cooperation, responsibility, and
self-esteem. Also learn positive discipline techniques, natural and logical
consequences, mutual respect, and problem-solving skills. Open to parents
who want to improve their parenting skills for lifelong learning and/or
parents who are interested in receiving a required parenting class
completion certificate.

Infant Massage
September 13th | 6-8PM
Infant massage is a
great way for all parents to bond with their babies. Not only is it a
relaxing and enjoyable activity for babies and parents, but it can also calm
some babies with colic. It may also relieve discomfort for babies with
constipation or reflux. To register or for more information, call Barb at

Registration is required three business days prior to the event.

school, and work? Join us and discover ways to deal with the stress of

Cost is $30 (non-refundable) and participation is limited to the first 6
paid registrations. Payment must be received 5 business days prior to the

Environment In Child Care Settings

Do you know that bloodborne pathogens are not
transmitted by touching an infected person, through coughing or sneezing, or
by using the same equipment, materials, toilets, or water fountains as an
infected person? It is important that people be educated as to what are
viable means of transmission of these dangerous diseases, and what are not.
Learn how to properly clean up human blood or body fluids. Why you should
have a bloodborne pathogen kit and what items should be in the kit.
