Workshops
Workshops are offered free
of charge. Pre-registration is required. Limited childcare is provided for
children (unless otherwise noted) who are independent walkers and older;
younger children are welcome to join their parents. Childcare is limited to
the first 8 children registered. Registration deadline for childcare is
seven days prior to the workshop or the start of the first session.
CEU’s
are available for all workshops. Cost for barcodes is $5.00. No charge for
certificates.

Shaken Baby Syndrome
Prevention Workshop

Shaken Baby Syndrome occurs when an infant or young child is shaken
forcibly. By providing information to parents and caregivers on the dangers
and alternative ways to cope with an infant’s crying, the incidence of the
syndrome can be reduced.
This workshop is being held at Family
Resources of Sparta (201 East Franklin Street). Registration is required.
